Isn't Social Security "suppose" to be set aside for LEGAL citizens when they retire?

Why then do the illegal immigrants speak of it as though it is 'abusing' the system? Aren't they being rather ignorant?

DAR..Here on Y!A I have seen some answers to some questions where obviously illegal immigrants or supporters of them accuse Americans of being "lazy, fat, old" and that we "live off social security and welfare", won't do the hard labor jobs that they 'will do'. Only those who deserve to be on social sec. or welfare are allowed to and most people who retire have paid into and deserve it, they helped pay the taxes that support the illegal immigrants. Anyone on welfare is screened first. Most are required to look for work in order to remain on it and to take ajob if they qualify for one. The illegal immigrants have no decent upbringing, no sense of morality, they are disrespectful of the American people.

For years we have not enforced laws against illegal immigration. One supposed offset to the $55,000 per illegal immigrant household of costs we were paying was supposed to be that some portion of what some of them were earning was going into the to-be-bankrupt Social Security fund never to come out. Meanwhile, they only paid that in because they were using fraudulent numbers. I think paying benefits to illegals on that is insane.

If someone steals a painting, even amnesty doesn't mean they get to keep it!

As a going forward matter if they were legalized, it would be different. But to give them benefits based on historic records they provide of historic payments when they have clearly proven their willingness to resort to forged documents, is beyond belief, in my opinion.

Pancha, the ones I'm pissed off at on this issue are all in the Senate.

considered stealing from old people since they
haven't worked long enough to contribute to the
pot....however here in colorado we are working
told an iniative for the November election to deny any health care, food stamps, etc. We
have 30,000 registered voters need 63,000 to get it on the ballot by mid July...Hell no they don't have a right to....mexican motto blind em and rob em.......

The ones who are REALLY abusing the system are our elected representatives ... who don't seem to be in the slightest bit interested in changing this sorry story .... if an American commits a document fraud .... will he get amnesty? Like hell he will, he'll go to jail!
