It depends on the situation most of the people won't turn on due to stress, riding a roller coaster, winning movements or seeing your grand children will make you turn on and it may also called as good stress. I found some useful information at http://seahealth.org/anxiety

I believe that this is something that invigorates persons under 40 years of age. When I was younger I would test the limits of a situation and "push the envelope". I loved living on the edge and taking risks. I know my own adult children now have told me that they also went through this. As you get older you don't have the energy or the desire to live this way anymore. I used to look at older folks and laugh at how they had become "homebodies" in their middle age. I now look at my life-mate and myself and our 6 cat children and realize that WE are the homebodies I used to laugh about...but we are very HAPPY and content this way!

It doesn't "turn me on" but I do work better and am more productive when under stress.

That depends.
Eustress=good stress
Distress=bad stress (probably the type of stress that you are talking about).
