I met this guy today. I am interested in him. I think he is interested in me; but I met him at his job. I was a customer. He will be calling me sometime this week for me to come to his work to look at something. How will I know he is interested. I do not want to make the first move because I don't want to offend him culturally.

He will take it slowly (it may sometimes go very very slowww). He can be a true romantic. Initially he may ask you to go out to a dinner, picnic, or anything similar where you can have some chat and good time *together*. Don't be surprised if the invitation doesn't come this week.

It is a good decision that you're not making the first move. He is supposed to make the first move. Then it is your turn.

Turkish men usually don't like easy girls. Play the good family girl. ;-)

I have been dating a Turkish man for almost 3 years now. He has never talked down to me, has never been rude to me, and has always treated me with very much respect and kindness. He loves me very much!! Turkey is not the country that people perceive it to be. Well, there are some exceptions, but that is with anywhere. Arda just started talking to me one day...the first day we met, actually. We ended up talking for about 2 hours and that was it. We have been together since then.

Turkish men are some of the most mysogynistic people on the planet. If he likes you he will talk down to you, order you around, make demands etc. If hes nice to you it means hes not interested

Be careful, first find out it there will mbe someone else, if this is the point, let him do the talk and find out what is his intenction, or invite someone close to you to be there with you.

When he smacks you and asks you to hide your shame (face), he might just like you.
