This question hits a nerve for me. What makes a weekend any different than a weekday? Why do daycares operate M-F and close at 6 pm. Almost every job I can think of in the retail sector works weekends, and thousands of people work night shifts. Police, medical, phone operators, hotels and movie theaters, etc. Why do some people think THEIR shift is the only one that matters and others should suit them? Unless you are a student--then you are expected to be selfish. Otherwise, grow up. They're not dealing drugs, they're cutting grass!
Vent over.

It's rude! I am an early riser because my body clock thinks I have to get up and go to work at the weekends! but I would never be so rude to my Neighbours as to mow the lawn whilst they may still be asleep. I think 10.oo a.m is fair.

In some cities in the Los Angeles area, they have city ordinances that prohibit that very thing from occurring before 8:00am, especially on a Saturday or Sunday. If there is no such city ordinance where you live, well, you can't slap them with violating it, but all the same, I feel 7:30am on weekends is rude and offensive.

What do you do to annoy your neighbors? Did you ever think of that? And just be glad they mow instead of letting their yards look like crap.

I assume you mean AM? Yes, I think that's rude, I can see once in a while if they are busy or something, but every weekend? I suppose they have the right though.

Seems rude, but maybe they dont have any other time to do it. Just think. Havn't you ever done anything that they might consider rude? Like play music too loud, or even maybe have an argument at night with your better half, ect?

Depends, but whatever this is a free country and they can do as they please. I must admit, on the weekends at 7:30am (even though I don't have to worry about it), I wouldn't like getting woke up to the sound of a damned lawn mower.

its not really rude. its probably just when they want to do it. if it really bothers you, you should ask them to mow it later. or you could make some money by asking to mow it for them.

I think it's okay. I don't like to mow the lawn when it's hot.
