I'm pretty sure I'm part of a secret government testing program to find out if it's possible to "Mom" a woman to death. My kids have gotten close a couple of times, but I always come back kicking ~ and usually screaming! Hang in there, honey!

When my kids were young, I had a very strictly enforced rule that if they asked for something more than once, they wouldn't get it.

It only took a few times before they realized that I was serious, and the demands dropped precipitiously. It also had the pleasant side-effect that they realized that words have consequences -- that they're not just something that spills out of you.

A catatonic state can ensue from over mommying. Kind of like Goldie Hawn in Overboard. buhbuhbuhbuhbuh

not that i know of although many have wished. I tell all new moms i know don't teach your kids the word "mom" only dad.
However i do know some moms who have almost become childless because of it.

When my kids are being noisy and driving me crazy with their constant natter and questions...i take a deep breathe and remind myself.....that if anything ever happened to one of them, I'd do anything to hear their voice.

Ahahaha. You'll survive. It's even worse when they ignore you completely or when they are actually embarrassed to be seen with you. Just wait.
