What kind of things are important to YOU? Let's say you're an animal lover. You might meet someone nice at an animal-rescue shelter or a zoo. If you're a sports fan go to all the games near you. I'm religious and I've found church activities to be a terrific place to meet ladies that I have something in common with. Try to stack the cards in your favor that way. Best of luck!

Just the places you like to go. My friends really like going to things like sports games or bars...and then later complain that the guys they meet are too much into sports or drinking...what else would you expect from a guy you met at a sporting event or bar? But this goes for any event. If you like it, a park, a concert, bookstore, carnival, etc, you're going to meet guys who like the same thing.

The internet..coffee shops..support groups. Look for different community programs in your area.
Depending on how old you are..sometimes bars or clubs work. I myself am sick of the bar scene and lhave been meeting people through friends or on the internet
Best of luck! I know its hard when we have a busy life..but there are ways to meet people.

The elevator, the grocery line, at the gym, the library, at church, but NOT anywhere there is alcohol. You could be meeting their liquor twin instead... Also, avoid the DMV. Or Yahoo! Answers.
