I had a dream that I killed my ex's new boyfriend of 3 days. I threw him in the road, and punched him in the face until he died. This isn't a joke. I really am affected by this, and I don't know what to do. Does anyone think they know what it means when you kill someone in a dream?

In dreams we lose our inhibitions (sometimes) and act out impulses that we wouldn't actually give in to in real life.
There are a couple of reasons why. One, we just use the dream to release anger or stress, like a safety-valve letting off steam. We could wake up thinking, 'That felt good' and then forget about it.
Another reason for a dream like yours is that your subconscious mind could be helping you work through your feelings of rage or betrayal by showing you how crappy you'd feel if you followed your instincts and just beat the hell out of him.

It could mean that Ur having trouble dealing with her being with someone new. U may still have feelings for her and the fact that she has moved on is bugging you, this new guy she with now is with someone u use to be with. May be u feel if he wasn't in the picture there's a chance that i and she will get back together. Which is the reason u killed him in Ur dream, u had to eliminate him to get him out of the way.
Ryan, I just hope that u will not do anything to try to hurt this guy. If u and ur ex are friends then u should try to be happy for her and u should move on as well.
May be once ur with someone new u will not think about her & him because the one ur with will keep ur mind off ur ex & her current mate.

your dream is just an outlet for your feelings. it expresses how angry and hurt you are. it doesn't mean you are a killer or want to harm someone, just that you have feelings you that came out in your dream because they were hard to face when you were awake. if it's only 3 days, you haven't had time to process your feelings & the dream is helping you deal with your pain. don't dwell on it. think about the light at the end of the tunnel, new beginnings, future plans.

It means you are in pain. Not happy that she has moved on, Its probably the last thing on your mind when you are going to sleep. It sounds like you are in alot of pain, and not to sound like just everyone out there, but this is normal. Do you have someone to talk to about this? You really shouldn't be going through this alone, that would totally suck for anyone. With time all things feel better, I hope that you are okay, and I will pray for you tonight.

By killing someone in your dreams it shows that you have intense resentment toward the new BF og your ex. This means that you either still like your GF, or you just don't like the guy she replaced you with.

Dreams are just dreams. You are the person who interprets what they mean. If you didn't like it, it just means the dream happened.... that there's no meaning to it. So, just forget it and move on.

I guess it means you're really angry at the guy.(possibly hate him) All I can say is: Don't dwell in the past, it's time to move on. Keep your heart at peace, try doing some other things to distract you. Please don't do stupid things. I'm sure you'll pull through.

dreams are just dreams, I dream crazy stuff ALL the time . I (Personally) think they are just crazy crap.!don't beat yourself up. it just means you are thinking about your ex and her newbie.
