After my computer I had to get a new hard drive, I lost my dvd decoder I found a program that lets me use the dvd player but it won't work with my windows media center. I need a dvd decoder that is compatible with window xp. I know I being cheap but I paid for it once I don't want to twice. Thanks for your help! :)

Madame use VLC, it is the best DVD player avalaible,, its entirely free

you can also use openoffice.org instead of microsoft office :its better cause free..
for pictures editing use theGIMP.org... its like photoshop : its free

you can aslo download some software from google that is free :
picasa and google earth...

look up DVD Cloner 3 and do free trial it works great and most of the features are unlocked in the free trial

go to www.cnet.com they have a pretty good list of free decoders

PowerDVD is what I use. Nothing good is free.
