hair color too dark...help!!!!?

colored hair brown, but it looks black what can I do?

Every time I have done dark brown actually tuns out black. In a month or so it will lighten some. Do not soak your hair in bleach unless you want to end up looking like a calico cat. Give yourself highlights all over your head. They will make your hair look lighter.

I had a friend who used that "uncolor" stuff. She ended up looking like a calico cat.

If you just did it the color may fade. Try using pert plus. It is a very strong shampoo. However use conditioner because it can be very drying to the hair.
if you are still unhappy with the color you may want to try "uncolor." it can be purchased at Sally Beauty Supply. A word of caution though, uncolor tends to pull unflattering tones that need to be recolored over with the correct color. if it pulls orange use a blue based color to tone it out.

I did this when I was a teenager and I had to go to the salon and have a soap cap put on. It's a mixture of hair lighteners, shampoo, and conditioners. It cost about 40 dollars but that was 15 years ago. I hope this helps. Good luck!!

Mix lemon juice and water in a spray bottle and spray it all over your hair.Then lay out in the sun and your hair will lighten.

Don't worry...it will fade. If you want to make it fade faster, wash it several times in a row.
