I support our troops 110%. I always have and always will. However, I want to answer your question further.
There are many ignorant people in this country that can't and don't distinguish b/w supporting the troops and supporting the war. Believe it or not, you can support the former while not supporting the latter! I have had countless arguments concerning this distinction. Many people are falsely accused of not supporting the troops if they disagree with the war itself; an ignorant and baseless accusation. It couldn't be further from the truth. This lack of distinction is what led to the shameful treatment that soldiers received returning from Vietnam. They deserved better! At the very least, we owe it to them, to never again make the mistake of not supporting our troops.
Circumstances may lead to situations where troops commit stupid, horriffic, and criminal acts such as the My Lai massacre, the alleged one in Haditha, as well as Abu Ghraib. Yet, these are isolated incidents, and not representative of our troops as a whole. Unfortunately, our troops do suffer as a result of individual acts. Distinctions need to be clarified in these instances as well.
Our troops selflessly give their all. They obey orders and make sacrifices that many in this country couldn't conceive making. Our leaders may have other, selfish motives for making war. Our troops go because that's what they are ordered to do. They don't pick how, when, where, or why. They just DO!
So, for once, let's be unified on at least one thing in this great country of ours. Support our brave troops!

I,support them also. It,really saddens me that some times it's like people are just forgetting what the hell is still going on,over there. I,sure hope that this ends real soon, and the surviving ones return all in one piece to their family, friends etc...God Bless all the Troops.

I do, I do!! God bless YOU and your husband. Thanks for your sacrifices. There are more Americans who support your husband and the rest of our troops than not. Unfortunately, the losers tend to be louder at their protests than us (the silent majority). Again, God bless and best wishes for your husband's safe return home.

I love and support MY Soldier who is my husband but I hate all this 'our boys' stuff and so does he. Soldiers are people doing their job and hate to be referred to collectively. There is nothing glamorous or rah-rah about War, only about Peace.
