Jesus said...John 3:13 No MAN has ascended *into heaven* but he that descended from heaven, the Son of man. So if Jesus was the first man to go to heaven, what happened to Enoch and Elijah? On his way up to heaven, no doubt Elijah disappeared...totally. 2Kings 2:11,12.
Genesis 5:24 And Enoch kept walking with the true God. Then he was no more, for God took him. Since Jesus was the first MAN to go to heaven, and the firstborn from the dead, (Col.1:18), something different happened to these prophets. Imagine a human body disappearing from earth, nothing left to bury. When they awake, they will not remember any bad experience of pain, etc., indeed a wonderful way to go!! 1Cor 4:16..those dead in union with Christ will rise first
Hebrews 11:5)Enoch,13) In faith all these died,..16) ..reaching out for a better place, that is one belonging to heaven...for he has made a city ready for them.35) ..in order that they might attain a better *resurrection*,39)all these did NOT get the fullfillment of the promise...
No doubt Jesus was the first one they saw upon coming alive again..John 5:28.will hear his voice and come out. Also 1Thess. 4:15,16.

In order for your question to truly be answered you must learn to read and search the Bible for yourself. Read: 2Kings 2chapter, 9-11verse. or better still read all of 2Kings, 2chapter. One thing I will help you with is this Elijah was not taken up to be with Christ because you see Christ or at least Jesus Christ had not yet been born, crucifed, died, buried and rised in 3 days until the New Testament. Elijah was during the Old Testament, which means before Jesus Christ. Now Elijah is the only that I can remember that was taken up to heaven in the Old Testament. Now it has been told that no one has ever been able to find the remines of Moses, but it didn't say that Moses was taken up to heaven without dying. Elijah is the only one I can remember that was taken up to heaven and did not die. Also in Genesis 5Chapter, 24verse. Enoch walked with God and God took him. God took him where I don't know. Was it Heaven? I never did understand where God took him, Enoch. I guess I just assumed God took him, Enoch to heaven. So there you have it. Thanks for asking the question because you got me going back and reading the scriptures again.

Jesus, Christianity?
Use your brain for just a few seconds.
If Jesus died, he could NOT have been God.
Do Gods die? Do they?
If Jesus 'died' on Friday and 'undied' on Sunday, what else besides a few hours of superhuman suffering was sacrificed?
What's the BIG deal?
David Blaine can do that on TV.
If you accept the Jesus story, would you also accept this one?
I gave all my money to Charity last Friday.
On Sunday, all the money was returned to me.
I sacrificed for charity. True or False?

It's interesting to see what Jesus said about people going to heaven, at John 3:13Â Moreover, no man has ascended into heaven but he that descended from heaven, the Son of man.
According to Jesus no one had gone to heaven yet, it would seem reasonable to conclude he was right.
