(Matthew 21:11)
The crowds answered, "This is Jesus, the prophet from Nazareth in Galilee

They looked for a way to arrest him, but they were afraid of the crowd because the people held that he was a prophet

They were all filled with awe and praised God. "A great prophet has appeared among us," they said. "God has come to help his people

"And when he would have put him to death, he feared the multitude, because they counted him as a prophet." Matthew 14:5 (compare with Matthew 21:26)

"And the multitude said, This is Jesus the prophet of Nazareth of Galilee." Matthew 21:11

"But when they sought to lay hands on him, they feared the multitude, because they took him for a prophet." Matthew 21:46

"And he said unto them, What things? And they said unto him, Concerning Jesus of Nazareth, which was a prophet mighty in deed and word before God and all the people:" Luke 24:19

"The woman saith unto him, Sir, I perceive that thou art a prophet." John 4:19

"Then those men, when they had seen the miracle that Jesus did, said, This is of a truth that prophet that should come into the world." John 6:14

"Many of the people therefore, when they heard this saying, said, Of a truth this is the Prophet." John 7:40

"And there came a fear on all: and they glorified God, saying, That a great prophet is risen up among us; and, That God hath visited his people." Luke 7:16

"They say unto the blind man again, What sayest thou of him, that he hath opened thine eyes? He said, He is a prophet." John 9:17

Indeed, how did Jesus himself describe himself? Let us read: "Nevertheless I (Jesus) must walk to day, and to morrow, and the [day] following: for it cannot be that a prophet perish out of Jerusalem." Luke 13:33

And they were offended in him. But Jesus said unto them, A prophet is not without honour, save in his own country, and in his own house. Matthew 13:57, Mark 6:4, Luke 4:24, John 4:43

This is once again confirmed in the noble Qur'an: "And when Jesus son of Mary said: O Children of Israel! Verily! I am the messenger of Allah unto you, confirming that which was [revealed] before me in the Torah" The noble Qur'an, Al-Saf(61):6

Prophecy means to "forth tell" (note, I didn't say "foretell.")

Jesus was the Son of God. (i can quote Bible scriptures to that effect; if you want to play that game.)

Are you Jehovah Witness, or something?

Jesus was the invention of the Roman Governors who crucified two thieves under the inscription of "Jesus KIng of the Jews" on the three crosses, and set the Christ, the "just man" (Matthew 27:19) free.
Immanuel and not Jesus, was the name of the Messiah. Read carefully and see that Jesus did not fulfil the prophecy and command of The Lord Himself in Isaiah 7:14 to which Matthew refers, and no where in the Gospels does any Gospel tell us that the mother named the Child with a non-Hebrew name.
Read the ninth chapter of John and see the man who was born blind describe the Christ as a man, and you will also observe the "Jesus" when the Christ was not Jesus but, these things being written after and about the crucifixion of the Jesus on the right and the Jesus on the left who were crucified, you got to check with Luke and see why he wrote and for whom he wrote.
The Christ was long gone when Pontius presented the thief to the Biblical Jews, "Behold your King!"
"We have no King but Caesar" shows their total ognorance that Pontius was using a "pon" on the two Kings in the Geatest Hoax and The Greatest Escape of two millenium.

We are all part of the Creator. Now one is His son or daughter. He is us in totality and we are God in part! Jesus was a Jewish Rabbi that was warned by many other Rabbis that also possessed his skills, not to display his powers in public as the people of that day and age were primitive and would deify anyone showing any out-of-the-ordinary abilities. That would be breaking the first commandment: "Thou shalt have no false Gods before me!"

John 10:35-37 (King James Version)

35 If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken;
36 Say ye of him, whom the Father hath sanctified, and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest; because I said, I am the Son of God?
37 If I do not the works of my Father, believe me not.

Jesus lived in heaven as a spirit person before he came to earth. He was God's first creation, and so he is called the "firstborn" Son of God.

Of course he was a prophet, that doesn't mean he can't be the son of God also. Mary was impregnated being a virgin, how do you think that happened. He is the direct decendent of Heavenly Father.

Yes he was the prophet of God. and "Son of God"
According to the Bible every righteous person who follows the Commandments of God is referred to as son of God. As we can see, the use of the term "son of God" when describing normal human beings was not at all an uncommon practice among Jesus' people. In Hebrew, Aramaic and Greek , Son of God means servant of God, or someone who is very special to God. Not a biological son of God. New testament does not mean "Son of God" OR "Sons of God", other than a metaphorical sense.

Let's not get perplexed over this expression "Son of God". It does not mean God had sex with a woman, its nothing to do with biological progeny. "Son of God" is a metaphor. To be son of God is to be related to God is some way. This term "Son of God" is used in the New testament in numerous places. The terms Son and Sons are used not in their physical or literal senses but rather in the metaphorical or symbolic senses.

In the Bible, God has sons by the tons.

Adam is called as the son of God in Luke 3:38
Luke 3:38 "…Adam, which was the son of God."
Solomon is called as the son of God in 1 Chronicle 22:10
1 Chronicle 22:10 "He shall build an house for my name; and he shall be my son, and I will be his father; and I will establish the throne of his kingdom over Israel for ever:
David was called son of God in 2 Samuel 7:14
2 Samuel 7:14 I will be his father, and he shall be my son. If he commit iniquity, I will chasten him with the rod of men, and with the stripes of the children of men:

Israel is called as son of God in Exodus 4: 22
Exodus 4: 22 "…Israel is my son, even my firstborn".
Jeremiah 31:9 "…For I (God) am a Father to Israel, and E’-phra-im is my firstborn."
David is also called as God's firstborn in Psalms 89:27
Psalms 89:27 "Also I will make him my firstborn, higher than the kings of the earth"
Jesus is also called as firstborn of all creations. Colossians 1 :15 "Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation"

Good thing it automatically gives everything a question mark. "Look at me everybody! I'm going to use a book written by man containing questionable events to prove something."
