China vs Russia - neither they blow the world apart with the amount of nukes they both have.without nukes probably China as it has a far larger population and far larger armed forces although it may not be as well equipped it is still pretty advanced militarily.
Iraq vs Mexico - has to be Mexico as the Iraqi army has been destroyed by the 2 Gulf wars plus the 10 year war with Iran. Also as Iraq does not have any Navy left they would have a pretty hard job getting to Mexico.
Iran vs Pakistan - Iran as they have more fundamental beliefs and stomach for the fight plus the experience of the 10 year conflict with Iraq.Their copious amount of oil money and larger population would also help no end.
Germany Vs Italy - most likely Germany as they probably still have a larger armed forces and certainly have more money and larger population.Although if the Italians held them on the Alpine border like they managed in the 1st world war it may well become a long drawn out war of attrition.
To be honest without the use of WM D's most of these wars would probably end up being long and drawn out affairs apart from the Iraq vs Mexico.
Anyway no one wins Wars one side just does n't lose as badly as the other.

China of course! if Russia attacks China, they will have to go through Mongolia first,and that could create problems.Iran will have to swim halfway across to Mexico,as vice versa, and will have to get through many countries first,Iran will win against Pakistan because the people are united,Germany will win because if Italians attack German troops, all the Germans need to do is breath out and the Italians will die. china would kick russias *** because of its military might and finances russia is still recovering economically.mexico would win because of its allies but iraq would lose because its allready been depleted financially militarily.i think iran because again it has more money.and germany because it has a huge history in military might and would know how to best italy
