If you stay with your parents you will have the love and support of your parents. You will be able to finish your education which will enable you to provide a stable future for you and your child. If your boyfriend truly loves, you he will want what is best for you and your son not what is best for just him.It is in your hands what type of future you would like for yourself. I hope you have the maturity to do the right thing.

I think you have to be at least 16 years old to be able to move in with your fiance and as you are now 17 and if you feel that you would have a good standard of living and enough money then I would say go for it but if you will not be able to afford the basic minimum then i would say no, do not move in with your boy friend

You just turned 17. Obviously with 2 extremely young and immature parents, your mother wants to help that baby do well. Can't you think of the welfare of that baby before your own desires?

You could petition the court to be legally emancipated; most court procedings take an extended time to complete. Be grateful you have a place to stay - I'm sure it is hard on your parents to have this situation put on them - they didn't ask you to get pregnant before you were old enough by law to leave home.

I know in some states having a child does change the rules. You can also file for emancipation from your parents, need to contact a lawyer for that. Although your local department of family/child services may have some answers for you.

I think when the minor has a baby the parents no longer have jurisdiction. Call the courthouse and ask for the marriage license dept.

unless your parents sign a paper saying that you can move out on your own, than you are stuck at home! Maybe you should take advantage of this time......save money so you are better off when you move out! Babies are very expensive!

I think when you have a baby you are emancipated, that means you make your own decisions and make decisions for your baby as well. Stay strong and be smart.
