I would like to participate in national tournaments, but i don't have the money for hotel and travel expenses. Is there any way i can get a sponsor to help me out?

You just have to go door to door. Convince these companies that you have what it takes to be something great and just come right out and ask them if they will contribute to your boxing. I think that its no different than them donating to a charity. I was sponsored by a local tavern in my boxing days. Most bar owners in my opinion love all types of sports and boxing is a topper.
