we are always quiet is this a problem?

me and my boyfriend will go places together but if it is just us then we have nothing to talk about. we are completely silent. we will talk alittle but when i try to talk about something i cant find anything worth talking about. is this normal..at all? how can i change it?

we see each other everyday but for like 3 to 4 hours..we arent like none stop

he doesnt read.

okay, first off.. do you guys have serparate hobbies? if so, try talking about a cool book you are reading right now, the kick butt rock climbing thing you did...

also try going to less "pressuring" places to have dinner, like a cool dive or lesser known places that is a local place.

At times you might not find anything to talk about and at others you'll a lot of things to say. Just don't worry about it and even if you sound silly and you'll both have something to laugh about

Share what you've read either in a book, magazine or a newspaper, and ask him for his opinion about it. If you'd like you can make something up to make him smile or say something to the effect of how happy you are to be with him and you're missing the sound of his voice when he talks to you, you miss being with him and it's easy to be apart from each other. If you have nothing to say or can't come up with something, ask him, "Penny for your wonderful thoughts?" It'll open him up to telling you what he's thinking and at the same time he might either voice a concern/wish/hope/desire that kept on inside and didn't know how to say it out loud. Anything you both will talk about will lead to a pleasant and peaceful conversation :)
