I am not sure if this is a cake or a pastry, but someone made a birthday cake (a south american or mexican recipe) and it looked like layered tortillas but crispy and it was topped off with what think was a caramel fudge sauce. I am not sure if there was anything else in it, does anyone know of this recipe?

It was probably Tres Leches cake which is of Latin origin. It is made with 3 milks/creams: sweetened condensed milk, evaporated milk and cream. It's excellent and you can find many recipes if you put "tres leches cake" into a search engine. Good Luck!!

in no way truly. its sticky and takes continually and a tumbler of milk. Whip cream is less demanding to get off. additionally i don't get any of the yummy yum yum caramel so it could be problematic. sexy. yet problematic. sooo..the respond on your question isn't any.
