we negtotiated on an 06 car and when we went to pick it up, it was an 07, so we couldnt get 0% financing. nobody at the dealership noticed this until we drove all the way there to pick it up the next day and now we cant get it cuz we are buying a house and we want small payments, so the 0% was perfect for us, is there anything we can do?? can they give us the 0% even though they say they cant?? or shouldnt they find us the same car for and not charge us extra to bring it to us??

The only issue here unfortunately is what does the contract say.If you signed a contract that listed the vehicle you purchased as the '07 you picked up, then you pretty much stuck with it,unless the dealership GM is willing to work with you and swap out a sale and give you and 06 with the 0% and take back the 07.If you are withing 3 days of the purchase you can take back the vehicle and void the contract (its a federal law).
The thing to learn here is DO NOT sign a contract until you have read it and confirmed it says what you agreed to,and you have added any special options to the sale on the contract.
That being said if the dealer will not work with you and the 3 days have passed you still have another option.Take you '07 to another dealership and trade your 07 in on an 06 with 0% financing.Only if you are asked why are you trading it in should you get into the catastrophe at the dealership you bought it you want to be honest, but you do not want to give the new dealer any bargaining chips.Chances are he wants to sell you a car and he doesn't care about anything except the value of the 07 and the value of the 06 you are buying, and above all do not sign anything until you see it in writing.Good luck

If you have signed the paperwork and took delivery of the vehicle, there isn't much you can do.

The dealership can only give you the APR the finance companies are offering. Many times the 0% is only available for a short term loan (36 months) or you have a choice between a lower APR or a cash rebate.

If you need to stay within a specific payment range they should be able to help you find a vehicle that will fit within your budget.

I love some of these answers! Don't get a lawyer, you didn't pick up the car yet, you have nothing. You won't get 0% on the newer model year like someone said, that's for the outgoing model year.
Two good ideas: Check the interest rates of your credit union, they are typically less than the dealers. Or, see if the dealer can locate you a 2006 with the current 0% incentive on it. They may be willing to do that. I know i would. If that doesn't work, look for a less expensive car.

unfortunately i believ that they cannot give the 0% financing on a 2007 vehicle if the deal was for a 2006......the dealership in many cases does not decide this and as much as they might like to help you out...they are unable.....work with the dealership and see what else they can do to get you into a vehicle that fits your wants and needs......and also your payments

I think they can get you the financing you want, because newer vehicles usually have lower interest rates. If not consider refinancing the loan through your bank instead of the dealer. The bank may be able to lower the interest rate or extend the payment period, thus lowering your monthly payments.

tell them if they dont give you what you want you will have no choice but to buy a car elsewhere, seriously you should negotiate, you have the money. what is the worse they can do say no. I say go try to get what you want and if not go somewhere that will give you what you want. They know you want the car so they will try to get as much out of you as they can. good luck

My advice would be to see a lawyer like tomorrow morning to ask his advice. It might be Worth it to pay a lawyer a small sum to save a large payment

I think you need to play hardball. I am currently being jerked by my dealership, as well. Until I called them on it, they were going to make me pay for something that was clearly their fault.

take the'07. The money you save on depreciation will make up for the interest you will pay. (maybe)
