I love L.A., to me it is the greatest city in the world, I am curious on what people outside of L.A. think of it and If they wanna visit it someday or want to stay as far away from it as they can?

I like LA personally, the club scene is great and there's always something to do. It's never cold. You can go to the beach in February. I'm not as keen on the majority of it's inhabitants though. Most of the people I met in LA were totally superficial, hardly anyone there is from there, and everyone seems to be wearing a mask. It's like everyone expects themselves to come off as flawless and is hiding the imperfections that make them human from the rest of the world. I would like to live there, but I would move if I decided to have kids.

Since I am actually from the greatest city in the world, I had to respond.
Actually my Sister lives in LA and constantly tries to talk me into moving out there. I might give it a try sometime, but for now I like not having the expense of a car and I recently moved from Manhattan to Brooklyn and am having a blast exploring whole new parts of the city.
The weather in LA is tempting though. I think most about relocating during February.

I hate dealing with the traffic through LA and try to find alternate ways to get back home in N. CA from San Diego to avoid the city all together

If you like lots of people, traffic, smog, concrete, high prices and congestion... then it's the place for you.
Personally, it's okay to visit but I would never want to live there. Then again, I prefer clean air, drivable roads and personal space.

I used to live right by LA and I think it's great. It would be better with some help and things. But as of now it's pretty good.

Rich homes, crime, Hollywood, fashion clothes, superficial people, plastic surgery, the pacific ocean, broken dreams, hotels, orange county, pollution, beach, clubs, cars, people, surf, Beverly Hills... It seems like you're everything or you're nothing or you're not much but you're struggling or you are rising up. I guess good weather is ever present.
