If you can please translate this from French to English:
Dans des terrains cendreux, calcins, sans verdure, comme je me plaignais un jour a la nature, et que de ma pensee, en vaguant au hasard, j'aiguisais lentement sur mon coeur le poignard, je vis en plein midi descendre sur ma tete un nuage funebre et gros d'une tempete, qui portrait un troupeau de demons vicieux, semblables a des nains cruels et curieux...

In ashy lands, burned, without greenery, how I complained one day to nature, and how in/with my thought(s), swelling haphazardly, I sharpened slowly upon my heart the dagger, I see at high noon a cloud, funereal and heavy with a storm, descend upon my head, carrying a troop of vicious demons, similar to cruel and curious dwarfs...
I changed the word "portrait" to "portait" because there is no verb "portrer" in French, and the verb "porter" makes sense.

I'll make my best, but this is not common French
When I was at a cendreux, burnt and without green terrain, as I complained one day to the nature about what I thought, wandering to the hazard, I turned slowly to my heart and my poignard, and I live just between a funeral and fat cloud of torment that carried a lot of viscious demons, that could be compared with curel and curious dwarfs...
Well, hope it helped
