Well this is the good question that u ask. I think if u read the book that is about love and the relationship it will tell u the real answer that ur looking for. There is a book in the shop and it is about the age that why girls always crush on oldre guys. This book is very old book. If u did't find that book is better if u ask this question to ur grand parent, because they know the real answer. Hey Good luck and I hope u fine the real answer of ur question.

What, what, what? Than happens in about 4% of the time. 87% of the time the girl has a crush on some "McDreamy" hunk with the intelligence of a garden slug, and the personality of standing tap water or they want some crude, ignorant thug of a bad boy. And both can be as broke as the flea that came in with the church mouse and they gal would not care. It ain't abut the money unless we are talking hundreds of millions, and most mature men are not that gripped. Don't know what nation you are in, but it doesn't happen like that in the USA.

could be som sub-conscious action going on here. Ever notice how teen girls look more sexually mature than teen boys. The girls are taller and more develloped while the boys got facial fuzz and acne. Some anthropologists think this is so older men don't view young boys as a threat to their reproductive success (primitive behavior). Kinda like apes, with one head male who fight younger males and scare them off.

Well, I do like someone older (one grade) and I like him because, like what was said, he is more mature than the idiots who are my age. He is very talented! (He plays three instruments, he can sing, and he is such a ham! LOL) And he gets STRAIGHT A's! Or shall I say STRAIGHT A+'s?! He amazes most of the others in his grade, and the best part is, no other girls likes him! They think he is ugly, but he's not that bad! They are just shallow...

Oops sorry I kind of get carried away when it comes to my crush...

Maturity factor. I dated a 42 year old man when I was 26. He was way too immature for my liking. He wound up marrying someone closer to his age, but she had a daughter with a man who was married to someone else when her kid was concieved; the kid was about 6, dad was still married to his original wife, and they were still "together." She was also supposibly with several other men during this time.

Everyone I dated after him was younger than me. My husband is about a year and a half (2 school years) younger than me. I had crushes on older men, yes. I just chose someone compatable with me to spend my life with. Age wasn't really a factor.

it kind of adds up since girls tend to be more mature than boys. if they go for older then they are equally mature (theoretically).
