simply say that she could loose a couple of pounds and that you will support her all the way

Talk to her about how you feel - but be NICE about it. Tell her that you have both put on a few pounds and you want for both of you to get healthier and more fit. Do it with her - start going on walks together or hiking - it will get her out and more active and it will also give you time together which will strengthen your relationship.
Once you get her more active buy her a membership to a gym (maybe a joint membership). You can also get her a gift membership to a place like Curves - it's an all womens workout facility which gives a complete body workout in 30min. It does work - I lost 30lbs in 3 months by going 3x a week - and it was fun! I thank my hubby for the gift membership he got me all the time! Good luck!

It's called the old "I've got you now" syndrome. Well, I've got him now and he can't get away. HUH? Unless there is some medical reason for all this fat, then I suggest you get her to her doctor who will run a blood test and get her cholesterol and blood sugars under control by diet. My husband and I have both lost weight on the South Beach Diet (only 1 pound a week, but in 52 weeks just think). It will be a "life choice" for both of you, but don't make it any harder for her than it needs to be. Let your wife know that you want to be able to appreciate and respect her self control. You must help her help herself by being the big strong support she will need.

buy her a fine branded beautiful dress[ girl always loves a fine branded dress] pack nicely and give her as surprise present to show how you love her.[ make sure the dress under 1 size, if her size 30, you take size 29 ].After when she open her gift, tell her she going to look beautiful and sexy [ another two words that girl loves to hear ] in that dress and ask her to try in.
For sure the dress can`t fit her nicely and she will be frustrated about this and at this time she know she fat.Show her that you`re sorry and put the blame on you and this will melt her heart out.
After this for sure she will mumble how fat she are and at this right moment you can motivate her spirit and tell her you will be supporting her all the way if she intend to be a bit slimmer.

Is she unhappy about some situation. Make time for her and go out for walks just the two of you. If it is bad weather tell her that you need to get in shape and join a gym together. Never ever tell her anything about her weight this will make it worse. Just make it fun like you want to be alone with her and have a date night. Eventually with all the special attention you pay to her, she may want to eat more healthy.

i know what you mean my hubby needs to loose weight big time my son & i are always worried about him having a heart attack. she needs your support try this after meals tell her lets go for a walk just 3 blocks & back home & make sure you both take bottled water the doctor will even tell you walking is number one for loosing weight. i dont even bother with my hubby any more cause first of all he needs to help him self before i can push him along to better things & with out that its just a lost cause on his part. he tends to eat that much more if i keep on him you find that alot in heavy people they feel ashamed & become more disgusted with themselves what ever you do pls. do not tell your wife she is just plain fat what if it was you?

Well first maybe you should stop being such an a**, stop complaining, and love her for who she is, not what she looks like.

But if you really want an answer.....

1) Ya'll could join a fitness club together.
2) Take her walking, or maybe hiking somewhere.
3)Take her swimming alot during the summer (which is now).
4)Get an Ablounge and tell her they're really fun and they help you get into shape at the same time. (seriously they are fun I recommend them haha).
5)If ya'll don't have a dog get one. She can take it for a walk every afternoon.

Has she has one of your babies?

The thing is YOU can't do it. She has to want to do it. Nagging and harassing her will make the issue worse. Love and support her.
Take her for a walk in the park, on the beach, etc..
The best thing is for YOU to be involved w/o ever saying anything negative about her body. You: "I am so out of shape, I was thinking we could get a treadmill, bike or *** what do you think? "
Fix a veggie tray with dip to snack on while watching tv. (Because you have a craving for them.. YOU not her okay? )

Drop little hints and clues here and there. Buy her pants that she used to fit into, restrict her diet. If you don't want a conflict, you could probably get by doing all this for a while before she blows up at you. Or you could always tell one of her friends to talk to her about it.

I was slim when my guy and I got together.
Due to bad health and not being able to work,
I gained alot of weight.
Question for you.....Does she have health problems,
that you or/ or not aware of? Is she depressed? Have there
been alot of negative things happen since you two wed?
And....... what about you?...have you kept your appearance up?
