sounds like you have a problem, find some help because drowning your emotions with alcohol just to feel better is temporary, it's just going to come back and then you're going back to that cycle.
good luck

I must tell you that drinking alcohol does not drown emotions - it is a DEPRESSANT - and makes your sadness worse plus not feeling well when you sober up. You are WAY past the social drinking agenda and on your way to alcoholism if you don't start taking control of yourself. Please, please find someone you trust to talk about what is bothering you so you will be able to put things in perspective. Nothing in this world is worth putting your body through such destructive behavior! You are SOMEONE, and there isn't anything put before us that we can't handle; it just takes sometimes a lot of effort. I wish you well.

Just write down a few things while you are drunk...here's the list..
1. Am I happy right now
2. Is my family happy right now
3. Do I feel healthy right now
4. Do I feel in control
Then read your answers tomorrow. But don't be hard on yourself because people care about you...your family and friends...perhaps friends unaware of your problem. You can overcome this addiction...because you are not the type to be drunk.
Be strong my friend :)

That's awful, I only get drunk maybe eight or nine times a year, alcohol is such a poison....I have alot of friends who turned into alcoholics and they got help, went to AA and really tried, you can get over it if you try, surly you don't want to continue your life like this...pray to God and talk to him about it...God bless
