I was an unlucky passinger in a car traveling way too fast, when we left the road, then hit a rather large tree, more or less crushing the car like an old tin can.

The question is.... Have you ever been involved in a "life-altering" event that changed your entire outlook on life, and are you ever bothered by re-occuring thoughts of that event?

My brother was riding with a friend in college & wreck put in coma for 23 days. Both were in hospital over 3 weeks. Before they were both fun loving, crazy acting & a little out of control. Afterwards they took college, family & church serious. They made major changes. My brother was murdered in robbery attempt 10 & 2 days after wreck. His friend was killed by drunk driver 10yrs & 11 days after wreck. They both left beautiful families. Yes major events can change your life for good or bad - your choice.

mine wasnt as bad, but i remember abnout a year ago i went to my friends house to spend the night and we were skateboarding earlier in the day and my parents told me not to skat past dark, but my freind was being an idiot and forced me to go out and skate with her in the dark, and while we were out there my dad drove by and i was hiding and my friend got seen and i got out of hiding and my dad yelled at me the worst he has ever yelled at me before. I felt so guity for doing it and i still do. He wouldnt let me do anything except go to school, do my homework, and eat really for liek a week. I stll remember standing up from behind a parked car and his headlights were shining on me. I felt so terrible. I dont want to do that ever again. If i ever get arrested, I would let down my parents soooo bad. I like to do sum dumb stuff sometimes, and i never want to be caught by the poli.e. Just thinking about it now i feel soooo bad and guilty.
