It has been my experience that 90-95% are born homosexuals. I know plenty of them both and they all tell me that they knew they were, "different" from a very young age. Of course, they didn't know exactly how different at that time, but they knew.
The remaining small percentage actually choose for one reason or another, bad experience with the opposite sex, more desire for the same sex, curiosity, many reasons.
It really shouldn't matter. Unless of course, your sleeping with them, then I could understand. Frankly, I am not gay or lesbian, so I could care less who someone sleeps with, they aren't in my bed. As long as they are decent, kind and compassionate human beings who live a good life free from violence, degradation and other such attitudes, I will like or dislike them based on the things anyone looks for in a friend or acquaintance.
Frankly, in recent studies, science has found that there are abnormal levels of estrogen and testosterone that may contribute to sexual orientation. I am not a scientist, but it makes sense. A good example is Chasity Bono, Cher's daughter, she acts, looks and sounds like a man, so much testosterone.
In any case, like, or dislike people for who they are, not who they sleep with. It really is no ones else business anyway.

Research more and more is concluding that you're born straight or gay. New brain scans show a clear difference. But these are relative terms and everyone's somewhere on the spectrum between the opposite ends. Experimenting and curiosity with alternate sexual experiences is not unusual.

Born that way!! You can't change who you are attracted to! It's like a guy who is attracted to Blondes forcing himself to be attracted to redheads, or a straight man forcing himself to be attracted to other men! Why would someone choose to be gay when they know how much harder it will make life in our society??

ppl aren't born that way. it's unnatural affection and it's wrong. ppl who find themselves with this type of struggle should pray to God and seek true counselling with a true counsellor who recognises this as being wrong. God loves lesbians and gays, but will not tolerate their behaviour. God bless
