Tricky ground. But then, whoever said life was fair?

There is no "right" things to do. Only different options with their own set of counter-actions and consequences.

If keeping your feelings bottled up inside you is going to hurt you more in the long run then it's best to release those feelings. But choose the way to do it wisely. Be tactful, don't make it an ultimatum. As for her reaction, if you've been gentle and polite and she really is your friend, she will hear you out and tell you how she feels. You can move from there. She might tell you that it's best to stay friends, but at least you will know.

And don't think it will make things weird. Weird is what people make of it. You might even want to test the waters and tell her that you "care" for her. It's a nice way of letting someone know that you have some emotional interest without saying "I love you" too soon or under inappropriate circumstances.

In the end the choice rests with you. Remember, there is no right and wrong in this matter. Go with your feelings.

Best Wishes to you.

For how long have u been friends? if for a really long time, then u should continue showing her ur love -as a friend- and that u care for her, until u find she could take it good that u see her as more that a friend. But if you don't know her for a long time, then a)tell her, it won't ruin a big friendship if sth gets wrong b) r u sure that it'll ruin ur friendship? if not, then tell her of course

Be careful, if she's in love with someone else, you may just end up making your relationship awkward. If she freaks out you may never get another chance. Maybe it's best to wait in the wings for a while.

talk to her about how you feel even tho if shes really in love with her new boyfriend she might tell you that she just wants to be friends with you but she also might just say that if she wasnt with her bf there might just be hope for you

wait till the guy gets out of her mind and always let her know you care about her and would never want her to get hurt and stuff. write a note if you don't want to say it directly

Get some guts and tell her. Maybe she does like you, and doesn't think you like her.
