It would be pretty darned uncomfortable, what with the bunchy fabric and all. The Egyptians used sponges. Maybe you have an old kitchen sponge lying about unused?
My yarmulke is satin on one side, and cotton lining. I can't even imagine it 'up there'.

I'm sorry but this question is too hard to take seriously. But in all
honesty, don't do it. Enough people are familiar with a diaphram
to know that you are wearing one.
