pink lemons! :P Actually, the pink lemons are pretty rare. Most pink lemonade has a syrup added for extra sweetness and flavor. We used to use grenadine (sweetened pomegranite syrup), but raspberry and strawberry also work. If you've got the time, whip up some frozen blueberries in a blender with fresh lemonade until smooth. You'll have fushia-lemonade with an amazing flavor! ^_~

I read once that it was accidentally invented around the turn of the century in a circus by a clown who mistook the lemonade vat for a wash tub and washed his red striped socks in it. Anyway it was a hit and they kept doing it. (I'm sure it was with clean socks after that !)
