Start at the top of your crown and start like you are gong to just braid three top strands. Braid the three strands you just separated from the the top of your head just once then with each strand you now have in hand go and grab some more hair and add it to each strand you already have. This is a cascade effect that you are doing. Then braid once again. Now grab another piece of hair again with each three pieces you have already and braid once more until you have worked your way all the way to the bottom of your neck. Then braid as usual without grabbing anymore pieces because you just grabbed all you could by working your way to the bottom already. Good Luck.
