Place half water and half vinegar in a glass measuring cup and microwave on high for about 2 minutes.... this will kill the smell that is in the filters of the microwave.

Lemon juice and water, microwave for 1-2 minutes. Should take out the smell.

Try two things: First, put a glass of water with lemon slices in the microwave & heat for 5 minutes. Second, put a bowl of Arm & Hammer baking soda in a bowl and let sit in there overnight.

Wipe down the inside with Hertel Plus if the smell continues after that...you may have to unplug the unit...open it up to clean any splatter that seeped out a hole...Be VERY cautious if you do this...there is a charged capacitor inside that could give you a bad shock...it will look like a large sardine can with wires running to two connectors at the top. This should eliminate your problem

Wet a dishcloth with vinegar and turn the microwave on for a minute or less.When it stops let the door stay closed for a bit before opening.Careful the dishcloth is hot.Rinse the cloth and wash microwave out with soap and water. Hope this helps!!

this should work but i'm not too sure ok....
boil water in a pot and place lemons or lemon juice in the water while it's still boiling. After u take the pot off the stove sit it in the microwave oven for a while and it should kill the smell

Throw some bi-carb of soda in there & leave over night, wipe out in the morning takes all odours out. Try a little vanilla essence to freshen it up a little afterwards.
