Okay, this couple has a child and their child says to another kid 'be my friend or go to hell'- they yell at their kid, say thats wrong and childish (which it is) I know them and bring up the fact they are christian and they preach the message of 'be my G-ds friend or go to hell" and they flip off at me. I dont think i did anything wrong. May I ask your opinion

I never have liked the convert or burn way of preaching. It's far too pushy and almost immediately makes one dislike the preacher. That whole ideal is too close to the convert or die attitude of the Inquisition and leaves no loophole for those who sort of believe. I'll stick with my God, thank you. He's much more forgiving.

I am not sure about mainline christians in America. But both evangelicals and fundamentalists (is there any distinction?) believe that unbelievers will end up in hell because mankind is destined to go to hell without the salvation of Jesus. The funny thing is that Jews don't believe in the concept of original sin which supports the view of eternal damnation in hell.

people try to judge christian people by one christian response or by a groups response. Each person may be christians but they have their own way of percieving things. I may say for instance, i believe in women preachers; and another christian can say they dont. the non-believer is going to judge the person that he doesnt agree with. every person is going to have difference of opinions on different things but as long as everyone know that JESUS died on the cross for our sins and that they believe he rose on the third day, THEY WILL GO TO HEAVEN.

Kids can get that way----alot of Baby Children of GOD are like that too!!!!!!Some of those babies are pretty old too!!!!!!(and would get mad at me for saying things like that!!! Shooooosssssshh, don't tell them o.k.???) You have to accept JESUS as your SAVIOUR to make HEAVEN, after that, were supposed to grow-up.
