I believe the cereal companies spend lots of money determining how many bowls of cereal can come out of a single box. Their goal is to not leave you enough at the end of the box so you will have to go buy another one!

well if that really bothers u then u should try getting a smaller bowl just 4 those times where u have the last bit of the cereal left.

It's the way of cereal companies getting you to buy more cereal so that you can mix the new cereal with the left overs of the last box. Cheeky huh?

Sometimes it's the second to last bowl for me...because I look in the box and know the last one won't be big enough, so I take a smaller one for the second to last bowl.

The reason is , because when you first open the box, you are so overwhelmed at the fact that you can pour as much as you like into the bowl, that you do just that instead of following the recommended amount per serving.

That is because the person who used it before you was lazy or inconsiderate. If you don't leave enough for the next person or at least finish it you're lazy or selfish. It's not the cereal box that is at fault.

It is the part that the previous user realizes they are hogging all the cereal and leaves a token amount to prompt the next person to buy more.

It's usually because no one wants to use the last. A good idea to use these small amounts is to put them all in one box and shake up. You"ll enjoy the different textures.
