i dont want to use a blueberry pie filling because it's for a pie baking contest at a town fair

It depends how much pie filling you want if you want lots and lots you should buy about 4 if you don't want that much blueberries you can use 2and a half - 3. you can also use blueberry pie filling from the can.

Almost all pies call for 4 cups fruit. That is equal to 2 pints.
