Religion, unfortunately is thriving everywhere, it's people believing in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ that is dying. It has especially died in Europe as they have turned from any acceptance of God and allowed the homosexuals (sorry to be offensive but history supports this), drugs, pornography, and idols of all kinds to replace what should have been God's and God's alone all along. The "Church" - catholicism is also guilty of the downfall because they have chosen to embrace all religions into one unified religions, which is against what Jesus Christ came to do - he said it is only through Him that mankind and get to the Father which is in heaven. We are just now experiencing in America what it means to be a part of a falling civilization, and what a mighty fall we are taking.

The education system in Europe is well supported and getting better whereas in America tax cuts take priority over common good.
Also America is loosing its global dominance whereas Europe is looking forward to its continued growth during this century.

I doubt it's thriving in my province. I live in Canada, and I don't know many people my age who go to church every Sunday. In fact, I only know two. And most people I hang out with are atheists, but that's just the ones I hang out with.
Religions seem to have taken lowers ranks in people's lives nowadays. It works a lot in the US, and South and Central Americas, but Hell, eventually, thewse trends will fade away.

I don't think it is thriving in America. There is no more prayer in schools. You can't put up a plaque with the ten commandments on it.

Because Americans, some of them, are insane and in Europe many of them have gained common sense and intelligence and humanity.

Fear set forth by bush and other people like pat robertson. I hope one day religion starts to die out throughout the world.
