I'm always pretty insecure on first dates, what to do, what not to do, maybe just be yourself, ... I'd like some women's opinions on this, thanks

I always notice if a guy has manners...holds the door for me, is on time, etc. And if he can make me laugh and feel comfortable, that's a perfect first date. But be yourself above all.

For one always be yourself or know one will ever know the real you. If you want suggestions for a first date make them different for all dates make it something fun and romantic or just one of these being friends first is the best bet if you can't form a friendship how can you form a relationship.
So do fun things tell her your going somewhere really nice and you both get dressed up in your best and then go to some buffet, hopefully she has a since of humor, and would take it in stride and not get mad if so ooops. but you have to be yourself have fun be honest and respectful treat a lady like you would treat your mom. Hey there you go take your mom on a first date and let her tell you what she thinks you should do maybe it will pay off and maybe it would just be fun and an experience. Just remember to be a gentleman.

First dates are pretty nervewracking--and chances are the girl is also nervous as well. So just do everything you can to make it as comfortable and fun as possible for both of you--demonstrate how thoughtful you are in what you choose to do for the date, how you dress, your manners, even how you treat waiters if you go to a restaurant.

Listen to everything she says--this will come through in your conversation and responses--ask open-ended questions (ones that can't be answered with a yes or no) and encourage her to talk more about herself. A big turn off on a first date is a guy that talks too much about himself, or looks away when we're talking. Oh, and make sure you turn your cellphone OFF. And the BIG no-no--checking out other girls. And don't trash your exes....if they even come up (and you should not bring them up), try to be as brief and neutral as possible talking about them.

Also be prepared to pay for everything if you're the one that asked her out. She may insist on going dutch, if she does, you can say something like "Why don't I get it this time, and you'll get it next time?"

Just be yourself.First impression counts. Whatever you do to make her laugh don't try any stupid joke. She'll think you're a jerk.
Be a real gentleman even if she insist on paying for your food.Don't forget to compliments her on her look. She probably spend the last 48 hours trying to get the right dress so appreciate her.Good Luck!

I am watching his body language. I don't care what is coming out of his mouth on the first date. It is all fueled by what he sees. How he controls his members on a first date tells you a lot about him.

First of all CHILLAX!!

Don't think about it so much! Just enjoy yourself as much as possible and be yourself. I know it sounds cliche, but it's true!

Avoid these subjects: kids, marriage, bad habits.
Afterall, it's just a FIRST date.

Respect. That's the main thing. Be yourself, have fun, and respect her. Once you have those 3 things under control the rest will come easy!

If that girl is your friend who is a lady? How would you behave?

Maybe you should be yourself b/c she'll find out eventually.

just be your self and not try to act extra neat around him.
If he loves you it wouldn't matter how you eat. HEY act as sloppy as you are, if you get married he'll have to deal with it sooner or l8ter.
And if he lets you go his a jerk and a dumby for letting you go
