Once upon a time, when my mom was addicted to soap operas, there was a character on General Hospital (played by John Stamos..what a hunk) named Blackie Parrish. I think it was because of his jet-black hair, and it sounds kind-of cliche, but it would be cool to name him Blackie.

Name it something related to the color black. My parents currently have an all black male they call Midnight (I like to call him 12 for 12 Midnight). They used to have another black male they called Shwartz (German for black). Other "dark" suggestions include Shadow, Negril (Spanish), Panther, etc.
