The Bible does not explicitly state that he was married.
Some have claimed that the Wedding in Cana (John 2:1-12) was His. The synoptic gospels do not mention this event.
As a guest, there was no reason for either Him, nor his Mother to be involved with the provisions of the Wedding Feast. The Master of the Feast, along with family of the bridegroom would be responsible for that.
As a Rabbi, he would have been required to have been married. Jewish culture at that time expected people to be married. [There are a couple of verses in the Tanach that imply that failure to be married is a sin.]
The major problems with assuming that the wedding at Cana is his wedding are:
i) Who was the bride? Mary Magdalene is first mentioned in John 19:25, standing by the cross of Jesus, with his mother. A position where one expects to find the spouse. It would have been somebody local to Cana.
ii) Why Cana? It ws not the home of Jesus. This place is only mentioned in the Gospel of John. The only individual who is stated to be from Cana is Nathaneal.
iii) Look at the time frame. It was so late in his career as a prophet, that it would be meaningless action. The acceptence, or otherwise of his message would have not been changed by his marriage at age 33.
[One discrepency between John, and the synoptic gospels, is that this is his first miracle --- but it is done within a month of his death. The Synoptics put the first miracle as being casting out demons, roughly three years prior to his death.]
None of the texts of the Nag Hammadi Library mention a marriage by Jesus. None of the Dead Scrolls mention a marriage by Jesus.
Some Christians claim that since Paul did not mention Jesus being married, when it would have been approprite to do so, that is proof that Jesus was not married. What that argument fails to consider, is that Paul did not write a biography of Jesus. The only words attributed to Jesus, written by Paul, are those of the Lord's Supper. (1 Co 11:24-25)
If he did get married, it would have been an event for the entire community. Nazareth was small -- maybe 60 acres in size. That means that the population --- including women, children, and infants --- would have been 600, or less.

Despite popular assumptions, Jesus was never married. Despite the various books and movies that came out this year, that notion is totally fictional. There is no mention in the Bible that Jesus ever got married or had a child. That is just what some people made up. And if anything, these "ideas" put a lot of confusion into the would be believers in God and Jesus Christ.
Read your Bible and read some good Christian authors books to find out the real truths about Jesus. God Bless You!

What many people forget, is that Jesus was, in fact, Jewish. In the Bible, no one ever dwelled upon whether or not He was married; because it was not considered important. As a Jewish man, however, he was EXPECTED to wed; as a Rabbi, this would have been a REQUIREMENT.
It was simply not important to those who followed His teachings in the centuries immediatly following His crucifixion to highlight his marital status. It IS important to note that, had he NOT been married, it WOULD have been of note, because this would have been an immediate, and severe, break with Jewish tradition. You must recall that women had an extremely LOW place in the society of Jesus' day; aside from the handful of women mentioned in the Bible, few women are mentioned in history; Cleopatra; Nefertiri; perhaps a handful of others. The word itself: "history"....Originally, "His Story"....Like it or not, and the feminists among us will NOT; women were historically insignificant in the time of Christ. What is amazing is that ANY women were mentioned in the Bible AT ALL; given the time in which the stories were originally set down, this is incredibly progressive.
Was Jesus married? In all honesty, there's probably no saying for sure, but it seems more likely than not. Was Jesus of Nazareth the Messiah? Was he, in fact who he was thought to be? A great source book, based in FACT (as opposed to DaVinci!), is "The Case for Christ", by Lee Stroebel. Mr. Stroebel was a criminal investigative reporter for the Chicago Tribune; his original intent was to investigate Jesus like he investigated criminals in Chicago; what he found may surprise you. It surprised me, and I highly recommend the book.
Oh, and as to whether he would have had a big wedding....No. He was a very humble person; in all likelihood, most of the Desciples would NOT have been in attendence.
Have a great day....Hope I got you thinking!

Don't play with me. Jesus' Wedding is when the Church is raptured. Do you know about the Wedding Feast. So the wedding you're talking about doesn't exist.

I think it was a big wedding when he and Mary Magdalene married, although it was just family and friends.

Well, if he did it was probably the wedding at Cana, where he turned the water into wine? If that wasn't his wedding, why would he be responsible for the catering?

i believe it was a small service with just his family or the apostles. Or maybe when he changed the water in to wine it was for his wedding.
