Well, I suppose it was inevitable: Saudi Muslims have declared a fatwa on soccer. It’s all documented in a article from the International Herald Tribune, which I found through the groovy blog Ole, Ole. Portions of the fatwa, which the Herald Tribune translated from Arabic:
"In the name of God the merciful and benevolent:
Do not call “foul” and stop the game if someone falls and sprains a hand or foot or the ball touches his hand, and do not give a yellow or a red card to whoever was responsible for the injury or tackle.
Do not follow the heretics, the Jews, the Christians and especially evil America regarding the number of players. Do not play with 11 people. Instead, add to this number or decrease it.
Play in your regular clothes or pajamas or something like that, but not colored shorts and numbered T-shirts, because shorts and T-shirts are not Muslim clothing. Rather they are heretical and Western clothing, so beware of imitating their fashion.
Do not set the time of play at 45 minutes, which is the official time of the Jews, Christians and all the heretical and atheist countries. This is the time used by teams that have strayed from the righteous path.
Do not play in two halves. Rather play in one half or three halves in order to completely differentiate yourselves from the heretics, the polytheists, the corrupted and the disobedient.
If neither of you beats the other, or “wins” as it is called, and neither puts the leather between the posts, do not add extra time or penalties until someone wins. No, instead leave the field, because winning with overtime and penalty kicks is the pinnacle of imitating heretics.
You should spit in the face of whoever puts the ball between the posts or uprights and then runs in order to get his friends to follow him and hug him like players in America or France do."

You clearly have an issue with muslims, as seen by your frequent 'Questions' posed degrading the religion. While I am not a muslim, I must chatise you for critiquing a religion you clearly do not understand. You questions reek of someone very young, childish, and uneducated- I have no intention of putting you down, I'm simply stating what I'm observing through the consistency of your negative posts. I suppose this is attributed to the radical muslims that commit offenses against mankind, and I must encourage you to separate those actions from the general muslim population, which, as a whole, preach tolerance and understanding. It would benefit you to ascribe to some muslim principles and educate yourself. When you make statements, such as this one and the others, you tout the idea that Americans are ignorant and self-righteous- and idea which, just as your foolish statement about muslims- is a wrong generalization. Our country was based on tolerance for other nations, and welcoming difference, you should reevaluate your ideas, and learn respect for those who live differently from yourself. I don't intend on sounding preachy, but this is for your personal edification, considering you used a forum for 'posing questions' for promoting silly hate propaganda. You ought to take from a chapter in the Quran and humble yourself and exercise some discretion over your statements. And I know, I know- you have a right to exercise your free speech amendment- but in that same respect, I have a right to tell you you're wrong. Best of luck, growing up.

You have got the wrong perception towards Muslim. Muslims do not hate soccer. Tell me which men do not enjoy watching soccer? So I think the question here is NOT 'do muslims hate soccer?'
You are like asking the same question as 'Do Buddhist hate soccer?'
'Do Christians hate soccer?'

Not everything you hear or heard is true. Who says Muslims can't enjoy anything. I'm a Muslim my whole family and friends enjoy soccer as much as non-Muslim. It is not fair to say such thing if you don't know anything about Muslims. What we don't enjoy is hypocrites and dumb a.s.s.....
