Ther is a drug called Antabuse that is taken orally to prevent the consumption of beverage alcohol (ETOH). Antabuse will make one extremely ill if they consume alcohol while taking the medication. It can only be prescribed by a licensed Physician as it can be quite dangerous for the abuser who drinks while on the medication.
