comb it, but don't be too fussed about neatness... so basically run a brush through, then tie it into a ponytail, twist the hair of the ponytail round the centre of the ponytail and secure into place with clips or a scrunchie. You could also go for the simpler version which is you start by tying a ponytail, but don't pull the hair in the ponytail out all the way, so it forms a sorta loop... some strands will fall out though... giving you a "messy" (but in a cool way, of course) look!

Put into a regular bun, and pull some hair out of the ponytail.

Put your hair up in a mess tight pony tail. Put another pony tail holder in your have that isn't too tight and just grab little pieces of hair and twist it then put them on the outside and inside of the second pony tail holder.

Just gather it up, and don't worry about small bumps, twist loosely, and pull it half way through a hair band.

dont brush ur hair and then just scrunch it together and tie it with a hair rubber band
