Tea time is usually between 4 and 5pm and consists of cups of tea and biscuits or cakes. Very few British people now have a proper tea time except perhaps for the upper classes/aristocracy (the Queen still has proper tea). Some people call eating dinner/supper as having their tea, but they've actually got it wrong.

tea time means dinner time, round 5 or 6.... (i would know i live in new zealand we use it all the time)
