People don't change, they only pretend otherwise.

I do, cause I know I've changed. But I only believe that one person is changed once. If some one say "I'm changed", but he's not, I won't believe him if they told me this second time.

Here is what I think about change. Personalities don't often change....but making better choices, making better decisions, and maturing as we get older all contribute to being a so called "changed" person. No one "really" ever changes.

NO!!!!!!!!!People don't change, they mature. (Think about it people are the same all over the world)

A boyfriend who was a dirty porn addict in the past may have matured to strip clubs. HA HA HA HA HA HA. No, but seriously I have experience with the whole changed person thing...it's just a plea for forgiveness so if you wanna forgive that person go ahead but remember that he or she is no different than before.

Yes, I have seen AA and other 12 step groups change people. Religion and therapy can change people too. It does take time. At least a year.

I believe it is possible for anyone to change. the real question is how long till they go back to there old ways? no one changes over night its not possible, but if someone REALLY wanted to change they could, if they continued to work on it

Oh yeah.....i'm living proof.....i have changed to the point my own parents don't know me any more....
People usually change when they have faced a traumatizing event in there life...it's like a slap on the face that wakes you up.
You really wake up, and start changing your life to what you think is better...
Sure, people can change...we are rational beings....and rational beings can descipline themselves and do what's right.

yes, absolutely, people can change. if they are changing because they truly want to change something for themselves and not just because of external pressure. you can hope that someone will change, but you can't expect that it will make them perfect. perhaps what is more important is can someone grow. growing is the kind of change that is constantly evolving and re-examining and adjusting to become a better person.

Oh my gosh, a real question. I beleive in change, change is important in life. Without change nobody would be where they are now. Look around, everything you see has some sort of change in its history. History itself is change. Good Luck

no. as much as a person changes there will still be many things that he/she just can't drop. and btw, they're mostly the bad traits in that person that don't change
