ok... my sister is in a lot of trouble for likeing and hangin out with the well lets just say the "wrong" crowd. she has been changed sooo much since she has been in highschool, for the worse. And she lies to my parents like it's nothing and she didn't tell them about her last boyfriend and she would get in sooooo much more trouble if they knew, but it's her buisness and she tells them all the time that she didn't date him,
but i think i should tell them cuz i just feel like i'm lying to them when i don't tell them what's goin on.
I want to tell them cuz i feel bad by not saying anything, but she's my sister, and i love her and if mom and dad find out she'll be in soooooooo much trouble, but she knew that and still went aginst mom and dad's wishes and disobeyed them and dated Emanuel.

The answer depends on your motive...If you just wanted to get her into hot water with the folks the answer is ...don't tell them
BUT (yes it's a big one)
You have indicated that it isn't because you want to get her into trouble. If this is true you should tell them for a number of reasons:
Mat 19:19 Honor thy father and thy mother: and, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.
if your sister is IN with the wrong crowd you need to let your parents pull her from the fire...
(Jud 1:23) And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.
If you REALLY love your parents and your sister (which I believe you do)...tell them, before she REALLY gets hurt or maybe even killed. It won't be easy...just tell your folks that you are really worried about your sister and that you hadn't told them because you didn't want to get them into trouble

It sounds like you are really worried about your sister. If she is doing things that worry you... You should probably tell your parents. Being taken out of school to home school or to a private school sounds like a horrible thing. But if she could be into thing that will get her into trouble for the rest of her life then she should go to a private school.
Your sister may not like it now, but later when she has a family of her own. She will look back and thank you and her parents for helping her when she was headed down a wrong path.

There is a reason your Mom and Dad don't want your sister dating Manny or anyone else for that matter I'm sure. You're sister is going to be in a lot more trouble when she's knocked up or with a disease that requires medical attention.... how's that for trouble?
Maybe homeschool or girls school is a good idea.

From a Christian perspective, if you are ASKED then you should NOT LIE about factual truth that you know.
It would be UNKIND on your part to rat on your sister --maybe due to some altercation between the two of you and you'll use it as your 'ace' against her in that instance-- especially if it comes from you unsolicited.
Perhaps the best route to take would be to have a sisterly talk with her first and discuss what you truly feel about it with her, since you DO CARE and LOVE HER, don't you? And remember that you are NOT HER PARENT, okay? Be more understanding and imagine if your roles were reversed with the same or similar situation...
Peace be with you!

well.... i think you should tell... Because it is better for her to be home schooled then hanging out with the wrong people .. Yes i know she is your sister and you dont want to tell on her , but it will be a very good idea to talk to your parents about EVERYTHING she is doing . Because when someone tells you stuff about them and then tells you not to tell anyone , that is like a cry for help , they want you to tell on them so that they wont have to be embarressed and do it thereselfs. If you want to be a really good sister then you should tell... Hope it helped...

Let her be, its up to your mom and dad to keep track of her if they can not for her little sister to be a narc. Unless you think she is really going to get hurt mind your own business, because putting someone in an all girs school or homeschooling them is sorry, just ignorant.

If her life depends on it (like if she was injecting heroin) tell your parents.
If she is/was having unprotected sex, tell your sister that she has to see a doctor AND do something to protect herself from disease and pregnancy or you will tell your parents.
Tell her you won't lie to your parents if they ask you point blank about something she has or may have done.
I don't see that any good is likely to come out of telling your parents that she disobeyed.
On the other hand, if it becomes her common practice to lie and disobey, you should really think about whether to tell your parents.

What's the wrong crowd? People whose parents make less than $120,000/yr? It sounds like U may be a little too sheltered and your parents may be a little draconian w/their punishment. If she's getting in trouble for having a boyfriend, bust her out, and then after a while she may forget about it.

I think your parents need to know whats going on, and if you have to be the bearer of bad news then thats how it should be. just tell your parents not to say it was you who told. and even if your sister finds out someday she will be appreciative of what you did for her.

sounds like your sister will probably beat the hell out of you if you tell.
keep your mouth shut unless she is doing something dangerous - unprotected sex, drugs, etc. if you tell your parents, she won't trust you, then you won't know when she is in trouble and needs you to tell mom & dad.
