Non-christians constantly bring up crimes and wrong doings within religion... Christians constantly agree, yes, those things happened, no we do not condone those actions nor does our Bible teach those things... but they never seem to like the answer...
Non-Christians ask us for evidence, we provide it, and its never enough.
Non-Christians always ask "Do you think is going to Hell because they dont believe the way YOU do?" and we always answer that salvation is through Jesus, not through "our" belief... but thats not enough.

You all know the answers to the questions you post 100 times a day so what is it you really want?

(If you dont have a chip on your shoulder against Christians, this question obviously is not directed towards you)

You are exactly right! All those people say they don't want to hear what Christians have to say, are still in the religion and spirituality forum!!!
For hating Christians as much as they do, they sure spend a lot of time talking to them.

What do I want from Christians? Thought. That's it. I respect faith, I have NO respect for ignorance.

What evidence has Christianity provided? You keep claiming it, but fail to produce.

What admissions has Christianity made that perhaps its faith is in error? Especially, since as you've mentioned they've been in error all throughout history.

What responses have you provided to questions about Leviticus? About biblical inconsistencies? About lack of knowledge? About lack of likelihood?

What do I want? I want an answer like my Christian wife gives. That her faith is her faith...be it right or wrong, true or untrue, proveable or not. It's not what's right, it's what she BELIEVES...that that's what matters.

When faced with a difficult question, I want Christians to say,"I don't know" instead of either 1) making up the answer they think, "Oh, God did that! That's what he likes!!!" or 2) responding with a canned answer, "Its part of God's plan"

I want Christians to say, "I respect them" instead of, "They're all damned"...and I want them to mean it.

To have an interesting discussion

I have seen both sides go over the same stuff over and over again, but no one seems to get bored with it. And I'd like to emphasize that both Christians and Non-Christians get a little repetitive, and it doesn't feel like we're getting anywhere.

But I still think it's interesting to see what everyone out there's dealing with, and to respond as I feel is right.

I understand where you're coming from, but there is little that can be done to stem the tide of questions like this.

Personally, I am dreadfully sick of answering the "If ur an atheist, y do u post in religion and spirituality???" questions.

the only chip on my shoulder is that the only two religions in the world (Christianity and Islam) that preach that salvation is only though them are also the biggest perpetrators of religious persecution in history.

can you explain to me how saying that you will burn in hell suddenly evils into helping people get there faster?

God is mysterious and as a result people see things differently. I think what some non-Christians want is to be left alone so they can find their own way. Leave them alone because it is not worth the tension.

Money......That is what I want....Doobey doo-wha..................

I don't have anything against Christians.I am one.I do like to challenge the narrow minded views of some Christians however and so I may come across as being anti-Christian..But I am not.I am pro intelligence and pro science and pro humanity and pro free thinking and pro common sense. All of which are not contrary to Christ's teachings.
