That quote is right..
the bond between electrons and the nucleus (cohesion) is unexplainable....the electrons are traveling too fast to be in orbit around the atomic nuclei. Physicists say that all atoms should fly apart; but, don't.

Those that really study science learn that there is an infinite "order" to "all" that escapes human understanding.

no, no, and no.

I am not superstitious. Opening an umbrella inside does not cause bad luck. Nor will chanting a prayer get rid of your sins.

I am not ignorant. I have friends who believe differently than me and I ask them about and listen to what they have to say.

I am not unlearned. I have a 4.0 GPA in school, thank you very much, and plan on going to college.

Your quote "If you study science deep enough and long enough it will force you to believe in God" ~Lord Kelvin, I don't know much about, but when trying to disprove the Bible, most people come to the conclusion that there is a God who cares for them (ie CS Lewis and Lee Strobel).

in many situations, little or no. the concept that strolling below a ladder is undesirable has plenty going for it, incredibly if someone is on that ladder and portray some thing. the concept in retaining a set of commandments actual has extra going for it, because of the fact a commandment is largely like a regulation, and we would desire to be lawful human beings with a view to maintain some sort of social order. some ideals are self-relaxing predictors and the extra one places right into a concept, the extra this is probably to maintain on with to that believer. in case you're seeking to discredit faith by potential of comparing religious ideals against superstitious ideals, it would help your reason to actual arise with 2 comparable ideals (one from faith and one from city superstition). you will actual have a brilliant style of difficulty doing that devoid of expressing bias against faith and/or the chosen superstition.

not yet
coz science has not yet drawn any conclusion.
so science is weaker than religion in many ways.
in the end there is still so many answers to be learned and always will be.
So religious people can not be those things.
but they are BIASED to a great extent.Even the non believers are BIASED too you have to keep an open mind believe or not to believe.

I consider myself to be religious but I know I'm not superstitious. I may be ignorant and unlearned in certain areas that I consider to be either superfluous or even boring to my body of knowledge that I choose to have.

I guess that makes me unique as an individual... and wouldn't consider myself to be among those who fit in your hypothesis as it stands.

some are, not all. a friend of mine who's also studying to be a doctor is a catholic. he's really smart too. it depends on if you can keep science and religion separate, i think that's the key.

and no, i've studied science for a while now, and it doesn't force me to believe in anything besides the cold hard facts in front of me.

They are very superstitious, but not necessarily ignorant or unlearned. More like misguided.
