By Army regulation, name tapes and service identifiers should be removed from BDU's before resale, disposal, or donation. It's a general order of some sort, not found in UCMJ.

I am sure that there are regs against it. However, every war surplus store I have ever been in was full of them. Therefore, I can not believe that it is enforced.

you cannot wear any military uniforms wth the name tags/tape still on them unless they are issued to you. Therefore you cannot sell them with such either.

it is against military regulation to sell or donate BDU's with any badges, or name plates still on them, however you can still sell them to most of the pawn shops.

I think selling the new camo pattern is illegal as it masks U.V. and night vision goggles.
