basically theres a language for every single state pretty much and theres 28 states...i kno in the south theres tamil, kannada,
in gujerat..gujerati..in bombay (state of Maharashtra) they speak marathi...but the national language is hindi..
dont forget the regional differences in each of the states

many if you mean in INDIA then punjabi, hindi, urdu, gurjati, etc...
