Would a DVD disk bought from US work in an European country? What would I need to make sure it works?

the formats are different on the DVD players. but you can go to an electronics store like Radio Shack and they should be able to sell you things to convert. My friend from Finland was able to play her Finnish DVD's in US after buying converting equipment. Or, just take your DVD player with you.

It must have " FREE REGION" logo.
