Then I guess I'd be on the street. That would suck.

I've had money and I've not had it. What I've learned is to be grateful for what I DO have. When I left my ex I had like almost nothing. I took my son who was 6 at the time and moved 500 miles away. I talked someone into renting me this ugly puke yellow single wide trailer and letting me pay when I got my first check. The next day I hit the pavement and got a job at petsmart. Eventually I got my social work license re-newed for the state I was living in and now I have my own mental health company. I could not have made it without the help of good friends along the way!

I'd get food stamps, live on the streets, and try to find work. There are quite a few places where I live that are looking for employment (fast-food, etc.), so I'd find a mediocre job there, and in the meanwhile, get a decent education.

Once I had a good enough education, I could start getting better jobs, meaning more money I could use to pay for stuff I need (and then stuff I want).

I wont soon. I have a job but it pays lousy and I barely get any hours and they are always different so I can't fit in a second job because I might be working monday day and tuesday night and next week monday night and tuesday, etc. I don't have a car so I have to work nearby. So many people have told you to get a job but that doesn't solve all money problems especially when your bills are more than you make.

You would be homeless like so many others in this world are...I'm thankful for all I have, even though some would consider me poor. I think I am blessed to have all the wonderful things I do have. I have a great wife, and two wonderful children. I am healthy, and have a nice place ( small and rented but still nice). I have a good job, and can provide for all my needs ( and even some of my desires)

If I didn't have ANY money, I would find a job to get some. But first I'd get an education so I could speak and write proper English and get a decent job that pays a bit over minimum wage.

First off--if this a hypathetical question--I would BEFORE running out of money --start calling everyone I knew asking them to help in finding me employment (because with no money I am surely out of work)--okay now I'm renting---I most definately would get in touch with my landlord immediately and let them know that I was going to be late with the rent and that even with set backs I would be straightening everything out as rapidly as I could---without calling it doesn't get dealt with --angers the landlord big time and brings a much greater chance of being set out------OK--now we're out of food-----I'd be calling the local food bank and any other service organization I could find on what services they could offer and any other programs that they knew of that might be seen into---Now that I've bought some time on our rent--have people hunting for a job for me --and have a couple of sandwiches on the table ---I'm going to let you figure the damn credit card out on your own---your the one that ran the thing up with no job--income--or prospects--so figure that one out for yourself------------

Contact your State Public Assistance Programs for Food stamps, goverment housing. Until then, you can go to local Churches in the area for food, they collect canned food donations and dry goods for these various purposes, until your situation improves.

Get a job, or a second or third job. The work may not be my cup of tea but it would put a roof over my head and food in my stomach.

I'd hit up my parents (or move back in with them) until I can get back on my feet, while looking for a job in the meantime.

And I'd move out ASAP once a job is found.
