No. The United States government has an obligation to protect the interests of American citizens only. They can not do that if the borders are open. The U.S. needs to control both of it's borders, prosecute employers who knowingly hire illegals and deport all illegals as we find them. If we do implement a guest worker program than the workers should be chosen from the list of people waiting to enter the United States legally.

If you think Mexican residents should be able to come here freely what about Chinese people, middle eastern refugees, maybe some Palestinians?

Not illegally, if we were to let all peoples from all countries come here unfettered we would turn into a third world country ourselves. It is in our best interest to control who and how many people are allowed to immigrate.

think of it this way. our forefarthers came here illegally and conquered so thats what the mexicans are starting to do. and also they come with a goal. its hard to get papers. mexico is corrupt i think.
